I have a UD3000 and have been using it with a Windows 7 laptop. I tried to update the firmware to use with my new Windows 8 PC by using the HUBFWUpdateToolV1.1sfx.exe installer. I ran the installer, and followed the instructions, then unplugged both power and incoming USB to reset it. Now neither the windows 7 nor Windows 8 computer recognize it when plugged in. Please help!

Thanks for posting here! I’m sorry to know that the Plugable UD-3000 is not being recognized by either systems after trying to update the firmware.
