Ud-ultcdl - ethernet and sound not working at times 2

Hi! This is a continuation of https://support.plugable.com/t/ud-ultcdl-ethernet-and-sound-not-working-at-times/19459 but as the ticket is now closed, I’m creating a new one.

It looks like @Joshua_H’s recommendation worked but for a while. Now every time the computer goes to sleep, the connection isn’t restored after waking up.

I have a shortcut to enable/disable the ethernet adapter as a workaround. But, I have been doing this very frequently these days.

Could you guys give me another hand finding the root cause?

Thanks for contacting us! I am sorry this is not working as expected even after the driver re-installation.

Just to confirm, it is only the network that is not being restored when the computer wakes from sleep?
Does the network connect automatically when the computer is fully restarted ( Start Menu > Power > restart )?

Based on your description of the behavior, our next step is to get some additional information from your system.

If you would, please keep the dock connected with the network cable connected to the docking station. Wake the computer and while the network is still not connected please run our PlugDebug application and attach the output of our diagnostic utility PlugDebug ( http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug ) to an email to ‘support@plugable.com’ with the subject line ‘Ticket #325693 - Attention Pat’, this will allow us to examine some log files from your system to help determine the next steps.
