UD-ULTC4K Dock not connecting monitors on startup - manual dock power off, AFTER Mac Mini M1 boot up is required each time

I love this dock, BUT from the first day I bought it, it does not connect automatically to the monitors. AFTER I boot my Mac Mini M1 (silicon), I have to manually unplug the power cord from the dock each time, then plug it back in to get it to work. I am hopeful there is a solution to this issue.This problem happens regardless of the Displaylink version I use (happened on v1.5.0 up thru current version 1.9.0. Mac Mini is on 13.5.2, but it happened under all previous OS’s since purchase as well.

One thing that I did want to ask is, if you are able to get the docking station to detect the displays by simply disconnecting and then reconnecting the USB-C cable after you have logged into the computer?

Sometimes, yes. Sometimes no. 90-95% of the time, disconnecting the USB-C cable does it; but occasionally, I have to unplug the power as well.

Please keep the dock connected to your system (even though not working) and send the output of our diagnostic utility PlugDebug → http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug to us directly via support@plugable.com with ‘For Ticket 416574’ in the subject line. This will allow us match things up and examine some log files from your system to help determine the next steps.

Please also include your Amazon Order ID number for the docking station purchase in your direct email. Please do not post the Order ID or the PlugDebug file in our public forum.
