UD-CA1 Ethernet not working with my macbook 2016

I have a UD-CA1 adapter with my Macbook retina 2016 and could never made the ethernet connection work. Green light in the adapter is blinking and yellow light on but the notebook does not recognize any ethernet connection. Can you help?

Hello Estanislao, thanks for posting. I am sorry to hear that the Ethernet port on our dock is not working and I will be happy to help.

Thanks for the description of the behavior you are seeing. Would you be able to download and install this Realtek Ethernet driver from here –> https://s3.amazonaws.com/plugable/bin… and reboot in order to see if this driver update helps with the Ethernet port on our dock?

If it does not help, can you let us know the version of Mac OS you are running?

Also, if you haven’t tried already, can you swap the Ethernet cable to see if the behavior continues?

Please let us know if the Realtek driver helps or not and that additional information whenever you have a chance and we will go from there.

Thank you,

Hi David,

thanks for your answer. I installed the new drive and nothing happened… lights at the ethernet are working and changed the cable and nothing happened (I’m attaching an image of the network preferences where you will see that the ethernet adapter does not appear at all)

I’m running mac OSSierra 10.12.5

Thanks

Estanislao

Hello Estanislao, thanks for the reply and sorry to hear that driver did not help. Also thank you for providing the screenshot of your Network settings.

From here, we’ll want to send you a pre-tested replacement docking station to make sure that the hardware is working properly. I will send you a direct email shortly requesting a few pieces of information and we can begin the replacement process from there.

Thank you,

David W.
