Purchased several hundred of these for a large enterprise organization and all was good until we introduced Surface 6 Laptop for Business into the mix. These units appear to intermittently flicker after being plugged in to the dock via the TB cable. We have tried everything from swapping to active cords, switching from DisplayPort to HDMI cords, disabling selective suspend on usb hubs and plugable ethernet. What I can see from the logs is that is appears when the unit is working and not flickering it is pointing to a different driver/firmware location than when it is not working. I have enabled hidden devices to remove all prior installations/instances of the plugable devices and run clean displaylink driver installs. This does not appear to fix the issue. Unless I am mistaken, it appears there are different firmware versions present among the exact same model hardware devices. If this is the case, then is there a way I can be provided a firmware updater to have all the units match the working ones? Thanks.
