Dell Vostro 340 (Win 7 Hm Prem)0, Acer x193w: Monitor functions independent of Plugable DisplayLink, but will not using supplied 15pin/DVI adapter. (Order ID: 103-3101929-7857805) Please advise.

If you install the latest DisplayLink drivers (http://displaylink.com/support/downlo… ) do the drivers install successfully?
At that point, when you have the Acer monitor attached to the dock and plug the dock into the Dell Vostro, does Windows report any success (or error) messages about the dock?
Normally, the monitor to be recognized at that point (you’ll see it go from black to showing your desktop background at least).
If it’s still not going, looking at the Windows 7 steps from the manual (http://www.displaylink.com/filestore/… pages 12-14), can you describe what you’re seeing that’s different?
From that, we’ll figure out next steps.
