My plugable USB 3.0 dock station is constantly blinking in and out (this problem happens every now and then). I am unable to download the software because it’s being used on a work laptop. This issue started recently, about six months ago. Do you have any solutions to resolve this problem?

My impression based on your description (and the section within our forum that you have posted) is that you are using a Plugable UD-3900 docking station → https://plugable.com/products/ud-3900 Please correct me if I am mistaken.
Presuming for the moment that my impression is correct, based on your description of the behavior our next step is to get some additional information.
Can you please send an email to our direct support email address → support@plugable.com with ‘For ticket #- 449353’ in the subject line that contains the following information?:
- The Amazon Order ID number for your UD-3900 purchase
For your reference, that information is typically available from here → https://amazon.com/orders
- The brand and specific model number of the computer you are using.
For example, ‘Dell XPS 15 9520’ or ‘Apple MacBook Pro (14-inch, Nov 2023)’
If you are unsure which specific model you are using, that information is typically printed on the bottom of computer.
- The brand and specific model number of each of the two monitors you are connecting to the UD-3900.
For example, ‘Dell U2415’ or ‘HP 24es’.
If you are unsure which specific models you are using, that information is typically printed on the back of the monitors.
That information will help us to determine the next steps.
