'Turn On Reactions' dialog keeps displaying

The ‘Turn On Reactions’ dialog keeps appearing on screen, specifically each time I turn on my camera in Zoom. It is annoying as it blocks screen content and must be manually dismissed (mouse click) each time.

Click the ‘x’ (top right corner) as no effect but clicking the DisplayLink icon in the menu bar dismisses the pop up alert.

I’d hope there is a setting to ‘accept’ this alert and prevent it from continuously displaying.

Any ideas?

HW: UD-ULTC4K

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out about this. I’m sorry for the unexpected behaviour, and I’ll be happy to assist.

I’m afraid this is an ongoing known issue that seems to be unrelated to the UD-ULTC4K dock or DisplayLink software. I found a couple instances online of people reporting similar issues, including one thread on the Zoom community page where a member of the Zoom Community Team acknowledges this is an issue and mentions that Zoom is actively working on a solution.

Here’s the thread on the Zoom community page: https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Meetings/quot-Turn-On-Reactions-quot-MacOS-desktop-notification/m-p/216832

Although Plugable’s ability to address this is limited, I’m hopeful that a future update can help to resolve this.

Please feel free to ask if there’s anything else we may be able to help with.

My apologies for the trouble.
