Trying to plug in USB cable to Mac Mini (late 2012)

My Later 2012 Mac Mini doesn’t have the right USB port for the cable that comes with my Plugable 10-Port Hub. It needs a little one, not the normal USB port. [Sorry - I don’t know the USB names/numbers!] What do I need to buy to get the hub plugged into my computer?!

Thanks for asking.

We also have a 2012 Mac Mini, which comes with 4 full size USB ports on the back: you’ll need to locate and use one of these to connect the hub.

The smaller ports are likely mini DisplayPort, not USB.

No additional parts are required.
