I’m trying to link my work computer with my home computer like I’ve been doing at work, using the docking stations.

The UD-3900Z is meant to connect to only one computer at a time, so it alone wouldn’t be capable of linking two computers together. Do you have some other product in the mix that is being used to connect the two computers?
I also noticed in your message you mentioned you’re doing something similar at work to link two computers together - can you provide the specific model numbers of the products you’re using to do that? This may help us figure out what we could be missing in this other setup.
