Trouble getting dual monitors to display with dual KVM

I am trying to connect my UD-3900 to a double KVM switch ( [GREATHTEK Dual Monitor HDMI KVM Switch 2 Port, 2 USB 2.0 Hub, UHD 4K@30Hz YUV4:4:4 Downward Compatible, USB Powered, Hotkey Switch, with Cables: Amazon.ca: Electronics](http://PWAY Double HDMI KVM) ).

I want to be able to use my dual KVM to use both monitors with either my laptop or my desktop.

The UD-3900 is plugged into my laptop.

Monitor 1:
I have the Plugable HDMI going to the “HD In 1A” of the KVM port. This works.

Monitor 2:
On the Plugable side I have a DVI-to-VGA connector. On the KVM side I have a VGA connected to a VGA-to-HDMI connector going to the “HD In 1B” of the KVM port. This one is NOT working.

I’m not even trying to set-up the my desktop yet and I cannot get both monitors to show from the UD-3900. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
