Just bought the USB 2.0 10-Port Hub with Two Flip-Up Charging Ports and 20W Power Adapter a week ago so multiple DJ’s could plug in and use one computer. It worked when I tried it at home and for the first part of the show then completely stopped working. We could not figure out what the problems was because it was still lit up and did not have time to troubleshoot so we had to switch out all the gear and continue. I hooked everything up yesterday and found out even though it was lit up it was not reading anything I plugged in. Extremely disappointed and cannot get it to pick up anything I plug into it.
I am sorry to hear about this! Can you please list what devices you tried to connect to the USB hub?
Please also perform a USB hub reset by doing the following:
- Disconnect USB hub from power and computer and wait for 120 seconds (also disconnect all peripherals from USB Hub)
- Connect USB hub to power only and wait for another 10 seconds
- Connect USB hub to computer and test all USB ports with a simple USB device such as a wired mouse or keyboard
- Now connect your usual peripherals and test
