the Plugable USB 3.0 Sharing Switch will not read a 2.5" drive

The Laptop gives a connection sound then after about 1 second gives a disconnection sound - there is no Hard drive icon either - I am using windows 10

I just reached out to you via the email ticket you created, let me know if you have any other questions.

For any other readers, the issue appears to be caused by the USB device attached to the switch, a USB external hard drive.
