Hello. I am considering the purchase of the Plugable USB 2.0 10 Port Hub (with Power Adapter for UK and EU Mains) via Amazon.co.uk. I would like to know if the power adapter included with this hub is a switching power supply or not? I would also like to know if the hub has surge protection and is properly regulated and therefore suitable for use with sensetive peripherals. Many thanks.

Thanks for posting your question here! Yes, the power adapter that comes with our Plugable 10 Port USB Hub is a switching power adapter that supports inputs of 100-240V ~ 50/60 Hz 0.5A.
The hub does not provide any surge protection and we recommend connecting it to a power outlet on a surge protector.
