TBT4-UDZ NOT displaying on 4 External monitors

I purchased this model based on the videos i have seen where the dock is running 4 external displays and the laptop display as well. I am running an ASUS TUF F15 with a 3070 GPU and Intel Dedicated Graphics. I have the latest Display Link drivers installed, and the latest laptop and gpu drivers installed when i plug in the 4 monitors it is showing in the System>Display but one is small and greyed out, when i click extend to this display it disables one monitor to extend to the other. I am using a Thunderbolt 4 cable and i know that the 3070 can handle 4 external monitors on a traditional gpu. I specifically purchased this model to run 4 external displays and the monitor making a total of 5 as i day trade and need as much info available on my screens as possible. What am i not doing to have this work as shown in the youtube videos?

Hello XGX13XGX,

Thank you for reaching out on the forums!

I am sorry to hear that you are running into issues with your TBT4-UDZ, but I would be happy to help diagnose the issues here.

The issue here is likely due to the fact that most Thunderbolt 4 supporting Windows laptops require the laptop’s internal display to be disconnected in order for the dock to support 4x displays. This is unfortunately a limitation on the graphics configuration on the host, so I am afraid there likely isn’t a workaround with the just the dock itself. We have more information on the display capabilities of the TBT4-UDZ here:

If you are interested, you could potentially add an additonal display using a USB graphics adapter, such as our UGA-HDMI-S. This adapter can connect to any USB 3.0 port on the dock and add an additional 1080p display at 60Hz.

I am sorry for the inconvenience. Please let me know if you have any additional questions!

Thank you,

thank you for reaching out, i am considering to buy the item you sent. But i am also considering other avenues such as going with 2 large monitors such as the MSI MAG401QR 40" Ultrawide QHDthis monitor has a 3440x1440 display with the dock i have support 2 of these or even 2 Samsung 49" monitors?

Hello XGX13XGX,

The UGA-HDMI-S can only support up to 1920 x 1080p displays at 60Hz, so these adapters will not allow you to connect higher resolution displays at 60Hz refresh rate.

Thank you,

Evan
