Several of our users are experiencing an issue where the dock’s HDMI ports cannot connect to a TV, projector, or both. We’ve found that updating the laptop’s driver resolves the problem.
To optimize bandwidth usage when rolling this out across all laptops, could you confirm which specific driver update addresses this issue? We are using laptop from Apple, HP and DELL
Our TBT4-UDZ should be Plug and Play and not require any drivers in order to function properly. However, if the issues you are experiencing seem related to the HDMI displays, I would just ensure that the laptop’s graphics drivers are up to date, as they are the ones most likely related to the video outputs here.
