I have two Asus ProArt monitors connected to this dock. They are factory reset to be exactly the same. One monitor is distinctly different in color from the other. The color difference follows the output port on the dock, not the monitor. Results are identical using HDMI, Display port, and mini Display port. Results are also identical using any combination of the above. Output #1 on the dock is distinctly more red than output #2.

Is there any way to resolve this?

Do I have a dock not performing correctly or is this normal?

Hello David,

Thank you for contacting Plugable support! Sorry to hear about this issue. I’d be more than happy to assist you.

There are slight differences for how the two output groups (Display 1 and Display 2) are implemented internally within the dock, though I can’t say that I’ve encountered this kind of issue before where the color is inconsistent between the two outputs using two of the same monitor.

  1. I’d like to start by having you first let me know what specific model Asus ProArt displays you have.

  2. Next, I’d like to gather some diagnostics from the system. We have a troubleshooting tool that helps us find out what is going on in situations like this. If able, please plug the dock with both monitors attached to it into your computer, then go to this page and follow the instructions there:

Please be sure to mention in the email subject line “Ticket 376847” when emailing us the diagnostics results, don’t post them here!

Please don’t hesitate to let us know of other questions.

Thanks again for contacting Plugable support and best wishes!
