TBT3-UDV - powered thunderbolt 3 connectivity issues - 2019 macbook pro

Purchased my plugable dock 2months ago.
Has been working well up until today, now started getting the blue flashing light and no power / connectivity to the mac.

Changed the thunderbolt cable from the powered computer port to the 2nd port, connectivity returns but obviously now have no charging. Power supply to the unit is clean (UPS protected).

Suspect that the port on the back is the issue.

I am using the thunderbolt 3 cable provided with the unit to connect between the dock and my mac.

Please advise. Do i need to replace the unit.
Been loving the product up until now.
