Surface Pro 4 to 4K TV

What do I need to purchase to run a Samsung 4K TV from a Surface Pro 4?
The TV does not have a display port.
I currently have the TV connected directly to the Surface Pro with a Mini Displayport x HDMI cable. The Mini Displayport is plugged directly into the Surface Pro 4 the HDMI is connected to the TV. I am only able to get 1920 x 1080.
What do I need to purchase?

Hi Erik, thanks for posting! You don’t mention the specific model of 4K Samsung TV you are using, but I would expect our Active MDP-HDMI adapter (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00S0BWR2K/) to work in order to display 4K when using a HDMI 2.0 capable cable and connected to an HDMI 2.0 input port on the TV. Making sure that the adapter that is being used is Active in important in obtaining a higher resolution, which may be why you are limited to 1920x1080 currently.

If you choose to proceed with a purchase, we offer a 30-day no hassle return policy via Amazon.com/returns if you find that our adapter does not meet your needs.

Thank you,

David W.
