superspeed USB 3.0 Hub blocks internet connection

Recently purchased a 7 port hub to use with my mac airbook. after plugging it in, found I could not get an internet connection. after trying to isolate, found it was the hub. I can launch a website, but it will hang. When I unplug the hub, the web page will immediately open.

I don’t have another computer to try this on…so I am at a loss. Will probably need to return this…

I am having this issue with my wifi conection on my MacBook Pro Retina with OSX 10.9.0 I will have to return my hub if this is not fixed. Thanks.

A UNTEK USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter plugged into the USB port on my MacBook Pro Retina 15" works fine. The same device plugged in via my new plugable USB3-HUB7-81X does not provide internet access. Solution?
