size of barrel connection used on the 4 port usb hub?

There, you say that the size of the 5V barrel plug used in the USB2-HUB4BC is:
outer diameter 4.7 mm
inner diameter 1.7 mm
length 9.5 mm

Can you confirm those dimensions? They don’t seem to match any standard barrel connector sizes I can find.

The closest standard size I can find is
outer diameter of 4.0 mm
inner diameter of 1.7 mm
length of 10 mm

Thanks for posting your question here! Yes, the dimensions provided on http://support.plugable.com/plugable/… is indeed correct.

As you can see from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coaxial_… , this connector matches adaptaplug C while the one that you are looking at matches adaptaplug B.

As long as the outer dimension of the connector is 4.7mm (or 4.75mm) and the inner dimension is 1.7mm and the length is 9.5 mm or longer, you can use it with Plugable USB2-HUB4BC.
