When I connect my second monitor through the docking station, the display shifts and only displays on 3/4 of the screen. The other 1/4 is black. I’ve tried all of the display settings I can think of and I can’t fix it. If I unplug it from the docking station, the display works perfectly. Advice please.
Depending on which product you are using we are either dealing with an EDID (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extende…) problem or you are using a VGA cable. If you are using a VGA cable you should be able to reset your monitor display and that should take care of the shifted display.
