Using the 4KHDMI adapter with a Dell 3011 2560x1600 screen. The screen goes black intermittently. It might work for a few seconds or a few minutes then it goes black for 2-15 seconds. I have reproduced this behavior in 2 different laptops and 1 docking station and with multiple HDMI 2.0 compatible cables.

Thank you as well for the detail you provided and the testing you have performed that is much appreciated. A quick question for you, in all of your test systems were you using the latest version of the DisplayLink driver we recommend for the adapter? (the current version is 8.4 M0, which shows up in Apps and Features as version 8.4.3026.0)
If not already using the latest version, please follow the steps here -> https://plugable.com/2017/10/17/windo… to perform a ‘clean’ install of the latest to see if that helps with the behavior.
If that does not help (or if you were already running the latest version on all systems), then adapter itself may be faulty.
