I would like to rotate my monitor upside-down but I have found that when I attempt to do this it also reverses the directionality of the cursor (up = down, down = up, left = right, right = left). Is there a way to rotate the screen but maintain the standard cursor directionality?

I am not aware of any option you can enable inverted mouse movement in the operating system itself (this is expected behavior). Some 3rd party laptop mouse drivers might have a function to invert mouse movement, but you would have to snoop around there. Sorry about this.
