Samsung SyncMaster 305 and Plugable UD-3900

Hi

My samsung monitor is connected by DVI DUAL LINK, and i can only get 1280x800
should go to around 2000… any idea what is problem?

Hi Jarkko,

Thank you for reaching out to us, I am sorry this is not working as expected.

Unfortunately, our UD-3900 only supports single-link DVI-D and will not output correctly to a Dual-Link DVI-D monitor. The docking station supports a maximum output of 2560x1440 using native HDMI ( this cannot be adapted to Dual-Link DVI-D ) and up to 1920x1200 on the DVI port, however this uses Single-Link DVI and will not be capable of outputting 1920x1200 on most Dual-Link DVI only monitors like the SyncMaster 305.

I am happy to assist in returning this docking station, please email me at “support@plugable.com” with the subject line “Ticket #224389 - Attention Pat” and include your Amazon Order ID for your original purchase ( available at amazon.com/orders ). I am sorry but we do not have a USB graphics adapter that will work with Dual-Link DVI-D monitors like this SyncMaster.

I apologize for the inconvenience,

Pat
