Resolution of monitor reduced when connected via Plugable USB adapter. Fix?

I have an AOC AOC Q2778VQE monitor with a native resolution of 2560x1440. If I connect the monitor directly via HDMI I get the full resolution, but when I connect via the Plugable USB adapter, it only shows me resolutions up to 1920 X1080. You advertise as supporting the higher resolution, so I hope you can tell me why I am not getting it. My OS is Windows 10 Home and a three-monitor setup using DisplayFusion. When connected via the Plugable adapter both DisplayFusion and Windows report the lower monitor resolution as the maximum.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for reaching out to us, I am sorry this is not working as expected.

We make a variety of USB graphics adapters with support for different resolutions and connections to the monitor. Please let me know the model number of the graphics adapter ( normally on the bottom of the adapter ) and we can work together to get the correct resolution on your display.

Thank you,
