can i rename the Bluetooth device to recognize it better on my other electronic devices?
my cell phone sees it as “XT1254”, says it is visible to nearby devices while Bluetooth setting is open. doesn’t say its connected.
I have Windows 10 on computer and the cell phone is a Droid, a year old.

The Plugable Bluetooth adapter will use the name of your computer as the name it appears as over Bluetooth.
You can change the name of your computer by right-clicking the Start Menu button, selecting System, then clicking the link to Change Settings in the “Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings” section. Under the Computer Name tab, you will have the option to rename the computer.
