Realtek HD Audio Driver 6.0.9472.1 Conflict with UD-3900

Hello. I am hoping someone can help me.

I have a new Dell, Precision 3571 running Windows 10 Pro. There appears to be a conflict between the latest Realtek HD Audio Driver 6.0.9472.1, A46 and my UD-3900.

I have tried now 3 times to update my Realtek driver. Each time I do–the latest being this morning–when the audio is set to default for Plugable Audio, there is no sound. Nothing. Nada. While when I set the default to Realtek Audio, everything functions as it should.

Each time my only course of action is to do a system restore and remove the offending new, audio driver from Realtek audio.

I am wondering if anyone has encountered this before, and what the workaround for this is. If no one has reported this, then I guess I’ve just brought it to your attention.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Plugable! I am sorry to hear that your UD-3900 docking station is not functioning as expected, and would be happy to provide additional support.

To help diagnose the issue, may I ask you to please keep the device connected to your laptop and everything still attached (even if not working as expected) and send us the output of our diagnostic utility PlugDebug? → https://plugable.com/pages/plugdebug

Once you have the logs, simply send an email to support@plugable.com with the subject line of "Ticket 406371 so that we can prioritize that case and match it to this inquiry.

If you could provide your Amazon Order ID (or other proof of purchase) associated with your Plugable device, I would be happy to check on your warranty status as well.

Thank you for giving us the chance to help!
