Product recommendation for MacBook Pro Intel chipset

I have a MacBook Pro (16”) with Intel chipset and looking to get a dual monitor docking station. I would like to ‘extend’ the laptop monitor to display unique content on each external monitor (vs. ‘mirroring content’).

I like the Plugable devices as they support either HDMI or DP for the monitors. I have two setups (home and remote) so this feature is nice.

I see (at least) four options here - UD6950Z, TBT3-UDZ, UD-6950PDH and TBT4-UDZ. The first two are older, but sufficient? The TBT4-UDZ seems way overkill for my needs.
