I have a Dell Venue 5830 Pro running Win 8.1 connected to a Pro 8 Docking Station. I’ve used it for years with no issue. The doc is now randomly disconnecting. I’ve disconnected the cable from doc and the tablet works fine. How do I resolve this issue?

Does it seem like the cable or USB Micro-B connector on the back of the dock could be the issue? Or does it happen randomly without any physical intervention like bumping the cable or moving the tablet?
