printer compatibility with Plugable USB 2.0 to 10/100 Fast Ethernet LAN Wired Network Adapter

Does Plugable USB 2.0 to 10/100 Fast Ethernet LAN Wired Network Adapter work to connect printer to router?

Hi Nancy - Thanks for asking!

No, a USB Ethernet adapter is only for adding an (additional) network interface to a Windows, Mac, Linux, or Android computer - it can’t go the other direction to help connect USB printers to the network.

The kind of device that can do that is called a USB network print server. We don’t offer one, but here’s a selection:

Hope that helps. Thanks!
