Hi i am using win7 i am trying to add my canon ip100 bluetooth ready printer to my system with your adapter but i cannot read the bluetooth when plugged into printer is there a step i might be missing

Thank you for posting your question about using our Bluetooth adapter on your Canon ip100 printer.
I’m sorry to say that your Canon printer is designed to work only with the Bluetooth Unit BU-30 that is sold by Canon, and will not work with any other Bluetooth adapter. Each Bluetooth adapter requires special software and drivers, and the printer only has the drivers for the Canon Bluetooth adapter.
Because this product won’t work in your application, please feel free to return it under Amazon’s 30-day return policy. We don’t want you to be stuck with a product that won’t work for you.
