I have several special education classrooms with small sets of iPods and iPads (5 - 10 units).
Will these products, when plugged in to AC, allow me to charge multiple iPads and iPods at the same time?

Thanks for asking ahead! These are standard USB 2.0 hubs (no special Apple extensions), so they can only charge devices at the standard 500mA, only when an attached computer is on, and only as many devices as the hub’s own power adapter supports.

So it’s not the ultimate solution, and the ipads won’t charge via any normal USB hub while on, but we do have customers using our hubs for charging sets of 5-6 ipods per hub.
