powered Display Port to USB-C adapter for USB-C monitor?

I just got the ASUS ZenScreen portable monitor (USB-C input only) which works great with my Lenovo X250. I’m looking for some adapter to allow this to work with an older MacBook Pro (mid-2010). I’m thinking of feeding the video from the MacBook DP port and having the power injected via USB-A connected to a 5v 1.5A converter (wall adapter) to provide both to the monitor USB-C port… Does something like that exist?

Hi Kurt,

I don’t believe there’s anything on the market at this point for the connection scenario of converting a DP laptop source to a USB-C output.
