Is it normal for the power supply to have a buzzing sound under no load?

All power supplies will emit some amount of low humming or buzzing noise when under load, however I would not expect this power supply to be audible from more than 2-3 feet away. If the power supply can be heard from further away please contact our support team directly via email at ‘support@plugable.com’ and use the subject line ‘Ticket #422465 - Attention Pat’ and we can check to see if any connected devices ( either to the docking station or to the computer ) are causing the noise and if it is isolated to the docking station’s power supply we can start the warranty replacement process.
