Hi. Trying to run an external monitor with my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro, using a Plugable USB 2.0 connection. It works, but the computer “sees” the external monitor as very small, so that even on the highest allowed resolution most of the screen is filled with buttons and documents are hard to read. Already downloaded latest DisplayLink drivers, any other suggestions?

What is the make and model number of the external monitor? Have you tweaked the scaling settings? If so, please reset them to default -> Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display.
