Pluggable UD-ULTCDL keeps disconnecting

After not using the device for over a month, (office closure due to COVID), now that I am back, I plugged my MacBook Pro into the dock, as always, and every few minutes the dock disconnects and then reconnects.

Running OSX 10.15.4 and Display Link 5.2 (59).

I have emailed support with the diagnostic results. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing or have a fix for it?

You and I have been communicating directly over email, but I just wanted to provide an update on this public post.

So far, we’ve swapped the USB-C connection on your MacBook Pro and that appears to have resolved the issue. However, we’re not 100% sure it has been resolved yet, so more time will tell.

To provide a final update, the issue has not returned after swapping to a different USB-C port. The problem could have been specific to a particular Thunderbolt 3 port on the Mac.
