The 2K HDMI port on the dock doesn’t give me any sound at all, picture is fine, but no sound whatsoever. On the 4K HDMI, I do get sound.
Please advise if the 2K HDMI port has sound or not.

Thank you for contacting Plugable support. I am sorry things are not working as expected while using your Plugable product and I would be happy to help.
For our UD-ULTCDL, the HDMI 2K port and the audio jack on the front of the dock are powered by DisplayLink. This will mean that, to get audio through the HDMI 2K port, you will need to make sure that “Plugable Audio” is selected and set as the default playback device in your Sound settings.
Additionally, if there are headphones connected to the jack on the front, they will be given priority over the HDMI 2K audio.
