Plugable USB-C Triple Display Docking Station Ethernet speed issue

Hi,

I’m using Plugable USB-C Triple Display Docking Station to connect to my Macbook 12", with the 10.13.15, and i found the ethernet speed(Wifi turned off) slow at 17x Mbps when using speedtest.net, however its goto 4xx Mbps when i using Macbook Wifi. And also i got the bootcamp windows 10 on the same macbook machine also got 17x Mbps. i have already tested my Ethernet Cable can goto 9xx Mpbs when i using another laptop and also restarted the docking.

Can you let me know are the any settings need to be set on the docking?

Thanks for contacting Plugable support. Sorry to hear about this issue.

Unfortunately this is a known issue with DisplayLink based docks and macOS. https://www.displaylink.org/forum/sho…

DisplayLink has a bug report open with Apple about it, reference 31218016.

At this time there is unfortunately no known fix other than to potentially connect an external USB 3.0 Ethernet adapter.
