PLUGABLE USB AUDIO ADAPTER WORKING AT 8000Hz SAMPLING RATE

Hi, I’m using the plugable usb audio adapter as sound card for a raspberry pi. I need it to work at 8000Hz sampling rate, as I wantit to connect to a bluetooth headset which native protocol(HSP/HFP) only supports 8KHz sampling rate.

I made the usb sound card the default sound card, and looked at ALSA and Pulseaudio configuration files, but had no success making the usb adapter to work at 8KHz, always defaults both source and sink to 44100Hz.

The question is, is this device capable of record and playback audio at 8000Hz sampling rate?

Thank you

Hello Samuel - I am sorry to say that the USB-AUDIO is set to 48K/44.1KHz sampling rate for both playback and recording. This is due to the C-Media 108AH chip and unfortunately cannot be changed.
