Windows 10 / Mac OS X El Capitan, when using within Windows 10, the device disconnects and reconnects once every few minutes, making it unusable. After the disconnect happens, the system displays an “unrecognized usb device” warning.

Hey Patric, I resolved this problem. Turns out it was a faulty USB hub. I didn’t think it was initially because I had tried 2 – turns out they were both bad.
