I would like to use it to connect my Canon camera to the Asus cell phone.
Can it work?
Are there any risks that damage the two devices?

Unfortunately, USB video devices will experience issues once cable length is longer than 5 to 10 feet. So we do not recommend any of our USB extension cords for use with video equipment, especially professional grade. That way there is no risk of performance or quality issues. Hope this helps!
