plugable usb 3.0 docking station

I have 2 monitors that I want to make sure display correctly when attaching the docking station the first time. I would like to know if I plug the left monitor into the DVI port and the right monitor into the HDMI port, that it will look correctly when powering up. Is this possible?

Hello Eric,

Thanks for contacting us! I’m happy to help you with your display setting question regarding our USB 3.0 Dual Display Docking Station.

The default setting for your displays is not dependent on the docking station or its inputs. There’s no way to know for sure how Windows or any other operating system will arrange your displays, as it’s unrelated to which inputs you choose to use on the dock for each display.

Rather than try to predict how Windows or any other operating system will arrange your displays upon first connecting them, it would be best to connect the displays as you prefer and adjust the display settings in your operating system to suit that physical arrangement.

We have a tutorial video for adjusting those settings in Windows, which you may find helpful. Here’s a link to that instructional video: https://youtu.be/kajujwoPsT8

If you’re using a different operating system or if you have any questions on this, please let me know, and I’ll be happy to assist you further.

Thank You,

Amanda
