Please, when I connect my sata III 2T , is it going to work?
Also, please, when I plug in my HD, does it have a cover for the exposed part of the HD?

Thanks for posting and for your question!

SATA is made to be backward and forward compatible so you will have no problems. Obviously you will not see SATA 3 speeds, but yes it is going to work.
(For a quick idea of what speeds to expect, look here)

Regarding the exposed part of the hard drive - unfortunately there is no cover.
