Plugable ud-ultcdl XPS 9560 Billboard device yellow mark

Hello. I don’t know if this is an issue. I have an XPS 9560 and I have a Plugable ud-ultcdl. It is working but in the Device Manager the Billboard device appears with a yellow mark and the following information when opened:
"This device cannot start. (Code 10)

A device which does not exist was specified."

Hi Miquel,

Sorry to hear about this issue. I’d be happy to help.

Aside from this issue in the Device Manger, does the dock work fine otherwise?

Are you using the USB-C to USB-C cable that shipped with the dock? Or a different cable? Also are you running Windows 10 or an older version of Windows?

Thanks!

Hi Joshua!

Besides the issue with the Device Manager, the dock works mostly fine. Only rare sporadic disconnections of a wireless keyboard and mouse which adapter is connected to the dock.

I use the USB-C to USB-C cable that shipped with the dock. I use Windows 10 Creators Update.

Thanks for your assistance!
Miguel A.

Hi Miguel,

Thanks for the info. Glad to hear the dock is mostly working OK.

We have a troubleshooting tool that helps us find out what is going on in situations like this. Please plug the dock into your computer, then go to this page and follow the instructions there:
