I just installed a UD-ULTCDL for my Dell XPS-15 to connect to a 2nd monitor. I wanted to also get a USB keyboard and mouse to work with it and override the laptop mouse and keyboard. Plugging into either the front or one of the back USB-C connectors with a USB 3.0 expander with the two devices attached yields nothing. It appears that in Device Manager I can see the mouse, but they don’t work at all.

Can you say if your keyboard and mouse are wired or wireless? I’m assuming if you connect them directly to the laptop itself they work as expected?
