Plugable UD-3000 - will it power my laptop via USB3.. or do I still need to use a separate power supply?

USB3 has the capability of powering peripherals (including laptops). I’ve found at least one other USB3 dock that does this… does the UD-3000?

Thanks for posting your question here! No, the Plugable UD-3000 will not power up your laptop. You would need to use the separate charger that comes with your laptop to power it up.
