USB3.0-Sata U3 Docking Unit. Plugged in Samsung Sata SSD Drive. Turn U3 on and Windows 8 acknowledges, but SSD drive does not appear in Explorer. Help!

One important thing to check is whether any other HDD will work in the dock, or if the SSD will work in any other dock or internally. Please reply to support@plugable.com with the results of what you find from following the steps outlined in the troubleshooting guide as well as your Amazon Order Id and the serial number of the unit you have.
Once we get this additional information, we’ll be able to figure out our best next steps.
