Plugable Docking Station won't charge MacBook Pro

I am running a MacBook M3 Pro. I have successfully connected a second monitor, keyboard, and mouse through the docking station, but my computer won’t charge. I am using the cable that was sent with it.

Unfortunately, this is expected behavior as the UD-6950Z does not provide power delivery to the host laptop. We try to call this out in imagery and web listings.

If you’re looking for a power delivery unit, the UD-6950PDZ is the model you’d want.
