PCIE 7 port Expansion card and Windows 7x64

I have an older motherboard (gigabyte) with on-board USb 2.0. I installed a 7 port Renesas USB 3.0 card and ran the host driver setup. It claims to have installed correctly but the system says the ‘Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller’ has a problem - (The device cannot start - code 10) The Hardware id is PCI\VEN_1912&DEV_0014&SUBSYS_00151912&REV_03
Where do I go from here?

Unfortunately we never manufactured a 7 port PCIe expansion card. We only ever offered a 2 port model.

You’ll probably want to reach out to the manufacturer of the card for further assistance.
